Adrienne Boyd

Program Specialist

After running numerous outreach and education programs in the non-profit and public sectors, Adrienne is one of our key “go-to” team members. The kind that will thrive under pressure, is dedicated to delivering a superior project, and always has something positive to contribute. Today you will find her leading up employee engagement, travel planning, and membership support. Adrienne develops innovative program delivery tools and administers the Smart Commute workplace programs for Halton, Scarborough and South Etobicoke. Her pursuit for fresh and novel approaches to the program translates to exciting events and contagious enthusiasm by all audiences. Recently, she was invited to share her fresh program planning insights at the 2016 Canadian Association for Commuter Transportation conference.

Her buoyant attitude and work ethic stems from her previous work experience as a park ranger, networking events organizer, historic reenactment soldier, and outdoor educator. Before joining UrbanTrans, Adrienne was part of the City of Toronto Smart Commute team to provide TDM support for Toronto businesses during the 2015 Pan/Parapan Am Games- the biggest outreach initiative of it’s kind for Toronto. Her lively communications and intuitive programming helped over 130 downtown businesses to enact workplace travel plans. She now brings with her the same level of zeal to UrbanTrans.

On weekends, Adrienne is often found exploring the hidden ecology of Toronto ravines and volunteering at her local animal rescue.
