How can we best describe Jessica? It’s safe to say she is unlike many you have ever met– in such a good way. Succinctly, she is a pragmatic idealist interested in creative altruism and humbling experiences.
She received her master’s degree in global environment from the University of Edinburgh and graduated from Emory University with a bachelor’s degree in political science and environmental studies. Scattered between her academic studies, she has worked for a variety of environmental organizations in North America, South America, Asia and Europe before arriving at UrbanTrans. Here, she brings a robust understanding of sustainability, a diverse range of practical experiences, and a deep passion for sustainable transportation and TDM – a truly beautiful solution. Her enthusiasm began while managing carpool and vanpool programs in Georgia and overseeing several thousand commuters. Jessica is an avid transit rider and has had the opportunity at UrbanTrans to work at a personal level to inspire others to discover the joys (and adventures) of clean commuting. She never tires of mapping possible transit routes and helping people get out of traffic. If you’re curious about your options, she’s got the solution.
In her leisure time, Jessica enjoys accumulating interesting facts about animals, engaging in relaxing hobbies like reading, knitting, and piano, and planning trips that she may or may not take.
