And she kicks it up a notch by leaning into her creative instincts for meaningful design and cogent messaging. Ashley has consistently applied this enthusiasm for problem-solving, integrative thinking and communications the minute she landed at UrbanTrans.
Ashley brings just over a decade of experience working alongside movers-and-shakers in the economic development, urban design and transportation planning worlds. She has focused much of her work around destination marketing, place-branding, and brand communications.
From her time in new media journalism to her work in communications and marketing management, Ashley developed a deep fascination for consumer-centric marketing and brand communications. Tapping into this burgeoning passion, she earned a Master of Science degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with a minor in Journalism from Shorter College, where she gained a profound love for storytelling and visual communication.
When she’s not busy sparking creativity at our office, Ashley can be found in her kitchen making culinary improvisations, catching up on “Chopped” and “Master Chef,” and exploring Georgia with her husband Milad, their two little ones (Vera and Naveed), and sweet lab-shund Remie.
