Emily Haar

Program Management Lead

Everyone needs an Emily in their project and in their life.  She brings a secret ingredient to her workload. We’re not quite sure what it is but when Emily is involved the project has a newfound level of organization, calmness, and productivity. Which is why she’s helping deliver some of our biggest projects. For over a half a dozen years, she has been applying that secret ingredient in transportation demand management.

Before joining UrbanTrans, Emily was managing the transportation outreach program for Midtown Atlanta employers and property managers. Currently, you can find her leading Perimeter Connects as the Program Manager for the transportation management association for the Perimeter Community Improvement Districts. She loves that she gets to work with some of the world’s biggest and best brands while providing their employees with innovative commuter benefits. Emily is also working with Perimeter-area companies and employees as they prepare for the biggest construction project of it’s kind — intersection improvements and enhancements at I-285 and GA400, an area in which 360,000+ travel through every day.

Falling into the true millennial stereotype, Emily has been getting around Atlanta for the past few years without a car. Her favorite mode of transportation is transit– where she uses her time to read and/or people watch (usually more of the latter). Pro-tip: her favorite time to ride the train is when DragonCon comes to Atlanta. How many people can say they have commuted with a Storm Trooper? Emily lives less than a mile from a transit station with her husband, son, and their favorite four-legged hiking buddy, Hugo.
