Digital Communications Specialist
Sarah believes in the powers of a well-told story and well-played hashtag, and she is attentive to meeting people and communicating with them where they are at – whether that is via a mobile device, email inbox, or social media feed. At UrbanTrans, she supports clients across North America, using her skillsets in content creation and social media management to institute meaningful communications for client programming.
Sarah’s work is holistic in nature, examining and executing upon every aspect of a communications program, from developing content to building email marketing campaigns, and creating collateral to coordinating website developments. Sarah is skilled in crafting dynamic content, creating and executing results-driven organic and paid social media plans, and working with creative teams to bring a client’s design vision to life.
Hailing from a five-year background in integrated marketing and public relations, Sarah developed strong roots in creative thinking and problem-solving throughout the roles in which she served, and she learned how to harness those forces to drive impactful communications programs for companies that span from small startups to global enterprises. Sarah’s work is built upon the foundational belief that investing time and resources into conducting research upfront is critical to informing decisions, determining strategies and orchestrating content.
Sarah earned a Bachelor of Science in communication from Kennesaw State University. She has volunteered with the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Georgia chapter for the past five years, most recently serving as the chair of the networking mixer committee.
Outside of work, Sarah invests herself in hiking North Georgia’s mountains, enjoying live music, hanging out with her cat, Luna, and taking part in Atlanta’s art and yoga communities.
